Thierry Ardouin likes to work on the connections between man and his environment and he always chooses the most suitable shooting technique.
Thierry Ardouin puts his palette on the parking lots of commercial areas, human warts in an environment that was a virgin time.
With « Nada », a walk started in Spain, he seeks the traces of man's hand on the landscapes and the transformation of them, sometimes accidental.In « Farmlands », it watches the gesture of the farmers, goes back and forth between the tool and the earth and the permanent swing between nature and culture. A counterpoint work in the series « After the storm », realized in the Landes forest following storm Klaus in 2009, in which he is interested in alterations made to an anthropogenic landscape.
In « Seed portraits », he works on infinitely small, seeds, and uses microphotography. He thus questions the profound disconnection of man from his environment.1991. He co-founded Tendance Floue and has since participated in all collective projects.
1995. He left the infinitely small of his research laboratory to devote himself entirely to photography.
2003-2010. He adventures with his photographic chamber in the open spaces and nothingness and produces several subjects about humanity and his environment.

2013-2015. Achieved « European words », a video documentary on the consequences of the economic crisis experienced by Europeans.
2013-2016. Initiator, artistic director and participant in « Korea On/Off », a collective project of Tendance Floue within the Cultural crossed year France-South Korea. An exhibition at the International City of Arts, the Goeun Museum in Busan (South Korea), a digital book and an exhibition catalogue.
