Azimut
Walking is something primary, primitive or even essential. I wanted my photographic proposal to be the most faithful reflection of it, to link it with the surrounding nature, almost a kind of personification. So every day I picked up elements of the plant kingdom, animal or mineral, found along my way. Then when the place was ready and the conditions were met, sun and running water, I placed my elements on a sheet of previously coated paper to form a cyanotypic photogram. I naturally called the photogram set « Cyanotypo-photographic prints ». Seven days walking, seven prints.
Started on 1 March 2017 and closed on 19 October 2017, AZIMUT is a photographic march lasting more than 8 months across French territory, led by 31 photographers. Everyone's itinerary is free. Hollow roads or paved roads, straight or winding lines, walkers-photographers shall only have one schedule to observe: to be at the hour at the appointment fixed to the one who succeeds him.http://trendfloue.net/collective/azimut/
Cyanotypo-photographic print #1: Freshly picked crocus and chestnut bug (unfortunately) empty from the forest of Lourdes to the good care of the sun of 14h and the spring spring springing from the nearby fountain. In the language of flowers, the crocus symbolizes fear and anxiety (Things then!), while chestnut, justice and fairness. The latter is known for its tonic and remineralizing properties. Where does the argotic expression no doubt come from?
Cyanotypo-photographic print #2: Little lizard barely died in the morning and his tail cut, dandelion flower slightly faded and acorn of the forest under the 3pm sun. Washed thoroughly in fresh water of Ouzom.
Cyanotypo-photographic print #3: Wood toe and its lichen, remains of turtledove, fern leaf of the forest, small pebbles of the stream and the accessory action of the sun of 11h33.
Cyanotypo-photographic print #4: Three-leaf clover (but it looks like four), small beetle or rather what's left of it, large green grasshopper of the meadow, nuts falling from the tree and wild herbs under the sun of 14:30. rinsed in an unnamed stream, under the intrigued gaze of three donkeys in the nearby meadow.
Cyanotypo-photographic print #5: Panicle (male floret), spaths and bristles (female florets) of corn fallen from a tractor trailer, under the 11h sun. Unloaded in the Mielle.
Cyanotypo-photographic print #6: Small piece of wood, thistle flower and mousse from the bank. Printed by the 3pm sun and cleaned in the stream of the edge of my way.
Cyanotypo-photographic print #7: Oak leaves (many), acorns and hats returned from small mushrooms of the undergrowth under a pale midday sun. Bathed in the calm water of the Ibarle.
